We began a 6 month internet marketing campaign for Territorial Seed in July 2000. In that time, the site achieved priority placement in the top search engines. The benefits of search engine position are reflected in higher traffic volume to their site and increased sales of their products.

In September 2001 Territorial came back to us reporting a 25% increase in sales last year. They brought us in again to help with the 2001/2002 season. We built on the work done last year, and created some specialized pages for some of the keywords that were not doing well. The placement in the engines improved and by month 4 they had better placement for some keywords than the large seed companies like Park and Burpee seeds. Sales continued to increase. They were doing well for seed catalog, vegetable seeds, seed company and seed, but the term seeds was beyond the optimizing of the site. We supplemented the search engines returns by purchasing the term "seeds" in February 2002. Watching closely to keep them number one in Overture. Territorial Seed has an excellent marketing team that careflly monitors all offline and online marketing. They are fun to work with and hold our feet to the fire for accoutability. They are convinced that Internet marketing makes a difference to their bottom line. We are currently exploring ezine ads to bring their products to the attention of more potential customers.
